Haryana Government Steps Up to Provide Compensation: Unveils Comprehensive Aid Package Amidst Flood Havoc

In the wake of unprecedented floods that wreaked havoc across Haryana, the state government has moved swiftly to announce a generous compensation package for the affected. “Haryana Government to Provide Compensation,” has become a beacon of hope for many in these trying times.

Farmers, who are facing the brunt of the calamity with their crops being completely destroyed, will be immediately compensated with Rs. 15,000 per acre by the state government, the Tricity News Hub has learned. Orders for damage assessment reports have been dispatched, and the compensation amounts will be promptly credited to the farmers’ bank accounts upon receipt of these reports. However, those who have suffered less than 75% damage will need to wait until the crops are sold before they can claim their compensation.

The Haryana government has also not forgotten those who have suffered property damage in the floods. Under the Bheem Rao Ambedkar Awas Yojana, the government will provide compensation ranging from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 1.20 lakh to repair flood-damaged houses. Immediate directives have also been issued to provide Rs. 4 lakh to the kin of deceased victims.

In terms of livestock loss, the government will compensate Rs. 20,000 per dead dairy or non-dairy animal. For poultry farmers, the government will step in to compensate for the loss of up to 100 chickens. For losses exceeding this, insurance companies will need to shoulder the compensation.

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has been proactive, instructing revenue and disaster management departments to provide assistance to flood victims at the earliest. As soon as information on human loss, livestock loss, or building collapse is received, immediate financial aid should be released to the affected.

In the face of this adversity, “Haryana Government to Provide Compensation” is a much-needed lifeline, bringing relief to those most affected by the floods. For more such updates, stay tuned to Tricity News Hub, your trusted source for all regional news.
